HILDA 16
The Hilda 16 shares the style and practicality of the larger 20 and 26 foot versions, but is small enough to trailer behind a compact car or pickup. The cabin has inside steering with comfortable seats, sitting headroom, and enough flat area for sleeping. Cooking is done in the cockpit using camping stoves and a portable ice box. If rain is encountered, the cockpit can be covered with a tarp.

Plans include full scale patterns for the stem and all plywood panel dimensions. CAD files for the panels are available on request, for computer controlled panel routers. These routers are becoming available in most areas, and will save you many hours of labor. Finger joints (cut by the router) are used to join the panels, eliminating scarf joints.
